Replacement Fitbit Flex won't pair with Fitbit for iPhone app

I received a replacement Fitbit Flex in the mail today since the first one I bought had battery issues. I have tried pretty much every single suggestion I could find on this message board to pair my new tracker to my iPhone app with no luck. I have restarted everything, performed the factory reset, deleted and reinstalled the app, tried to set up a new account, made sure the old Fitbit tracker is nowhere near the phone etc, etc, etc. With absolutely no luck. At this point it's safe to say I am losing all patience with this tracker. It's been two weeks since I purchased the original tracker and I appear to be no closer to actually getting this to work. In the past I have owned other trackers and never encountered issues like this. I switched to the Fitbit because it is more popular and I wanted to be able to connect to my friends, but for the love of God, please tell me how to fix this. This is beyond ridiculous.

I could make some suggestions, but think it might be better to give Fitbit a call, and let them hell troubleshoot over the phone.
