When I search for custom foods on either the iOS app or on the Fitbit.com dashboard, I am not getting the results I expect. For example, I have created two custom foods with the category of chips. One is entered as
"Chips. Oven. Custom." The other is
"Chips. Chip shop. Custom."
When searching on the iOS app, there are three tabs to choose from. Frequent, Recent, and Custom. So I click on log food, then on the Custom tab, and type chips into the search field. The oven chips show as number 25 on the list. Why is that?

Hi, good to see you around @the2ems. Certainly this is not am expected behavior. I have replicated the same scenario you exposed on your post and I wasn't able to see the same results as all my custom food was there with no issues.
So my recommendation here is the following:
1. Log out from your Fitbit app and double tap the home button on your iOS device. Your open apps will show on your device's screen.
2. Close the Fitbit app by swiping the app image in an upward motion. (Optionally you can restart your mobile device)
3. Reopen the Fitbit app and log back in.
If the issue persists try to delete the custom food is giving the issue and create a new one as a way to test if the issue is not caused by the food entry.
See you around. If you need more help you can find me here!

Thank you for the response. Deleting and re creating the food seems to have worked. I will monitor and re create any other custom foods that I have the same problem with.
