no, nothing works.  I do not get any notifications at all from my phone.  When I get a call nothing happens at all.  I have gone through everything allowed them to run in the background and nothing works.  This is so very frustrating.  I have missed so many calls because the feature that was adveritsed does not work.

@goofy14you your issue has nothing to do with sense controls but with the setup of notifications.

With not knowing the phone model. I can't help much more, however if the phone doesn't show notifications,, then notifications won't be sent to the tracker.

I have an Iphone XR.  I have tried all of your steps to connect the Sense to my phone.  Right now I cant even get to the notifications on the fitbit app.  I have to get to it through the on wrist calls.  Everything you are telling me I have done.  I will get it connected finally then if I walk into another room with out my phone it will disconnect and will not stay connected to it.  this is so very frustrating, so you just get fed up and you give up.  When you buy something that says that it will be what you are needing and it doesnt work, you begin to hate it.  I had a fitbit HR 2 that I woudl get my notifications.  I wanted to step up and I guess I made a bad choice.

Not sure what you mean by "can't get notifications on the Fitbit app"? I thought we where trying to get notifications to the Sense.

Are you able to answer calls through the Sense? In the previous post you say that you get no notifications.

I'm not sure what is it that disconnects, (your phone call?), when you walk into the other room. Is this because you are now outside of the Bluetooth range?

As mentioned several times above. Sense controls connect when needed, and as soon as the controls have done their task, the controls will disconnect.

In any case, we need to have notifications working before Sense controls will work.

Ok lets start at the beginning from my very first post.  My Fitbit Sense does not get any notifications or phone calls or anything from my phone.  I have an Iphone XR.  I will get it connected, and it will say it is connected on the fitbit and my Iphone.  Then later after I have gone to sleep or moved to another room I will get a message on my phone that says that the fitbit has lost connection and to reconnect it.  So to me that means that it is disconnected and simply coming back into range it will not reconnect on its own and I have to go through the whole process.  The issue when I sleep I have no idea what happens because I am in range and that shouldnt be an issue.  I will not get any notifications at all on the fitbit.  If I get a phone call nothing happens, it does not come up on my fitbit.  Everyone keeps telling me that the Sense controls does not stay connected, yet when you follow the directions on the Iphone connecting it through the fitbit app it says it is suppose to be connected.  I follow all the steps and it now shows connected.  Then it will lose the connection, and I have to go through all the steps again.

From reading above it seems that this is an issue and not something I am doing.

Just in the few minutes to type this, with my fitbit and phone right by my side, it disconnected.  I did not get up I did not move or anything.

So we are still talking about notifications, not about the subject of this thread which is about Sense Controls.

Instead of hijacking I've moved your issue to the iOS board, since I'm a android user.

On my Iphone under bluetooth connections it says not connected.  Then when I go into the Sense on my Iphone and I tap the on-wrist calls it goes into the set up mode.  I just tried to call my phone and the notification did show up on my sense, but it doesnt vibrate or anything to let me know that I have an incoming call It does not even come on it stays black, so I have no idea I am getting a call. Then when I try to answer and talk into the watch, nothing happens.

This is what I am talking about.  I had to take my dog outside and then this.  So I have to go through the whole set up process again.

Here is another example.  I am sitting right next to my phone and my sense is on my wrist.  I cant even connect the sense.  This is why this is so frustrating.  It will not stay connected to my phone.
