Hi. Would someone who has Fitbit Premium and who regularly reviews sleep data metrics please check something for me?
I noticed that the written summary overview information, normally written underneath the numerical sleep metrics, seems to have disappeared from my regular view, for example if I open the Sleep Metrics and drill down to the ‘Time Asleep’ page it would normally give me the actual result followed by a write up of something like ‘Last night you slept for xx hours xx minutes this is within the recommended range of…’ or similarly with the ‘Awake’ result it would summarise underneath with something like ‘Last night you were awake for xx minutes, this is more than other…..’ the summary overview was always tied into the actual result and compared to others rather than a simple generic line saying sleep more or be awake less!
I attach the screen shots below of where the summary used to be displayed. This is from the pages ‘Time Asleep’ and ‘Restoration’
I’m pretty sure it was there recently! Did it move somewhere else? Does anyone still have it showing there?

I don't have a solution but I can confirm this is the same on the Android app as well. Has been happening for weeks. No explanation, no summary, no benchmark. Just numbers.

Thank you @Dean478 for your reply, it’s really appreciated! Now the big question for the Fitbit Moderators reading this is; is it an intentional removal of this summary information within the premium paid sleep statistics or a bug?

@MissMyData I still have the old app (lucky me, it seems) and I can confirm the data is still appearing for me. This doesn’t help you on the new app, I do realise, except to say that the data is still there somewhere, even if it isn’t being displayed on the new app. So the developers COULD reintroduce it, if they wished to. The question is why they don’t, I guess…..???

Hi @kerrieBBOZ Many thanks for adding that information, that’s really helpful and good to know you still see the summary on your app. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it while on v4+ of the app as I remember reading some daily benchmark info recently which was of interest. Could I ask you to take a couple of screenshots showing the results you see and have them saved in case Fitbit want too see? You don’t need to post them necessarily but at least there’s a record of a like for like comparison versus my screenshots if needed!

@LizzyFitbit Hi. Would you be able to take a moment to check this thread out please? I’m trying to establish if it’s a bug in App v4+ or is it a recent deleted feature? Many thanks.

@MissMyData I have screenshot the many multiple pages of sleep analysis that the old app has if you want it, but I’m sure if you used the old app you will be familiar with them. There are a bunch available from the sleep button on the home page. You can still scroll right to see the week’s summary and click the tabs below the week chart pane to expand the data for all the individual nights listed below and still select the various analyses to see the 30 day average and benchmarks etc.

Not sure if they will let me post many images but I’ll se how I go!

Hi there, @MissMyData and @kerrieBBOZ. @Dean478 Welcome on board.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, and for the screenshots provided. This is odd as the sleep details should continue displaying your details and graphs without any chance. Because this isn't your case, may I know the model and OS version of your phone? Also, on the Fitbit app tap the Settings icon at the upper right corner > Help & Support and let me know the version of the Fitbit app.
I believe you already did it, but please confirm if you've tried to force quit the Fitbit app, reboot your phone, open the Fitbit app, pull down on the screen to force a manual sync and check your sleep details one more time.

Confirming I have tried those troubleshooting steps including: rebooting mobile, reinstalling app, disconnecting and reconnecting fitbit to the app, manually syncing, etc.
I can also confirm that if I go back to sleep scores from months ago when it was working and for example look at time asleep and time awake, those insights are missing too. eg: "41 minutes awake is normal for someone of your age, etc. etc.".
I am using the app on a Google Pixel 6A with Android 14 and Fitbit 4.06 with Fitbit Sense. All apps and software are up to date when I try to manually update.

Hi @LizzyFitbit thank you for your reply. I also support the below feedback from @Dean478 with the fact that the historical daily insight / summary information we have both mentioned has also disappeared from all daily record’s having checked adhoc 2023 dates. There’s just a blank space under the headings per my screenshots. I have followed the steps you outlined, I manually force sync every day also. Here’s the info you asked for:
sense 2, iPhone SE 2020, App v4.04 and IOS 16.6
