Sleep: joining rest times and full sleep times

On Saturday I had a rest in the afternoon for two hours which my fitbit flex2 registered for Saturday so when I went to sleep for Saturday night the fitbit incorrectly registered the sleep over night as Sunday. Does anyone know how to join the sleep times as my fitbit is now a day out for registering my sleep times.

Is it not the case that most of the overnight sleep was done in the early hours of Sunday morning anyway? hence the fit bit is probably correct..

Unfortunately not. I was sick that day so the nap was about 2-4 in the afternoon and back asleep for the rest of the evening from about 6 onwards. It registered the 6 o'clock sleep as the next day and the 2 hour sleep as the day before. Seems like a programing error to me. Strange as you'd think the program would take into account the phones clock. Anyway, hopefully it gets looked into.

@Gretch1  I have had similar things happen to me and I got things more-or-less straightened out by finding where the 2-hour nap was recorded and deleting that record,   then moving the two hours to where it belongs using the sleep editing feature.

Record all the details of the 2-hr nap before you do anything in case you need to put it back where it came from.

If you're brave, try it and see what happens.

Hi there @Gretch1 and @SunsetRunner, let me give you a warm welcome to our Fitbit Community. Note that I have moved the whole thread to our Help board, since this is a topic more related to this section.

The best workaround here to combine different sleep logs, is like @garybartlett recommended before. Just to add additional information on how to do this, take a look at this post from @SebringDon.

See you around and let me know if you have additional questions.
