For the last three nights, beginning on September 9, 2020 my Fitbit has measured my sleep starting at the time I sit down in my chair to watch TV after dinner. I have not fallen asleep in the chair. Do I need to do something different? I am using the IOS app ver. 3.36 (1013) with a Charge 3 ver. 20001.88.11.

The user can edit the sleep time.
But yes being so relaxed then going to bed could be confusing Fitbit.
Others have reported that long movies sometimes get recorded as sleep

@tomscot2 One thing that triggers sleep detection, in those models that automatically detect sleep, is that your wrist doesn't move for an hour. So there are times when every Fitbit will say that you are asleep when you are awake. It is common behavior and it doesn't mean that anything is wrong.
