Sleep score question

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I asked this on another person’s thread but it was ignored or overlooked. I’ve tried the suggestions on the other threads and still have no sleep scores. I received my Fitbit the weekend before Christmas, and the sleep scores recorded fine until last week when they started becoming sporadic.

Now it just stopped all together. It still records my heart rate and shows me the pattern but not my sleep cycles. Nor does it give me a sleep score whether I sleep 4 hours or 8.

Ive tried clicking “begin sleep” not clicking it. I’ve tried switching arms, taking the screen protector off, sleeping on my back and my side. Though this is a function I don’t use for my weight loss goals, I find it upsetting it doesn’t work. Honestly it’s upsetting enough to tell others not to bother spending the extra money on the Charge 3 HR because there’s apparently no upside.

Edit:

I’m having the same issue, at least I think it is. I have the Charge 3 and, as I always do, let it to bedtime when I go to sleep. I get up in the morning and it only shows my time of sleep. No cycles, no sleep stages, no sleep score.

it has my heart rate for that time period so I know the placement is fine. I’ve done a soft reset and even tried sleeping without the screen protector.

What reason does the app show why he couldn’t give a sleeping score.

i had the same issues with mine saying the watch didn’t have a continuous heartbeat. But now the watch is a little bit more loose on my wirst, I have more sleeping scores. I am suprised every morning now I have a sleeping score.

@SsgtTyo   I am including a section from a Help article that helps troubleshoot the sleep stage/pattern issue.  It shows the explanation that @Walker1901 mentioned.  Are you getting an explanation?

Please, do not use the Begin Sleep Now feature from the app.  You will always get sleep patterns if you do.  Also, a good first step is to restart your tracker.  Try that, too.
