Both my husband and I have the Charger 2. His app shows the new and improved sleep stages of REM, light and deep sleep etc and has for several days . My app told me I had that new feature but is not showing me anything different than it always has. I'm jealous. What can I do to make it show up?

First it was being phased out it waves, but there was a bug & I guess they stopped releasing it to everyone. There's a lot of chatter on it in the various tracker boards.
I hope they release it soon to everyone. It's a feature I really enjoyed from Misfit, when I still had my shine.

Hello @Kim18, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board! It's nice to see you around too @dtalksall.
@Kim18, I'm glad you're excited about the new sleep tracking features and insights. As @dtalksall mentioned, our team wants to make sure that you have the best possible experience with these new features which are now progressively rolling out to Charge 2 users. Please keep an eye for a future update on your Charge 2 that will add Sleep Stages so you can better monitor your sleep.
I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else I can do for you, please keep me posted!

I'm having the same issue as Kim18 where my charge 2 does not show the different sleep stages graph but my husbands does, and my Fitbit app just did an update, I looked again and it also said 'a new feature' in the sleep dept. but it still does not show the different stages of sleep.

Hello @GenR, thanks for joining us, it's nice to see new faces around the Community!
Thank you for reporting this, as mentioned above this feature is being rolled out progressively and if you still don't have it, please keep an eye for a future update on your tracker, not the app.
I hope this can be helpful, I appreciate your patience and understanding with this matter, please keep me posted in case you need anything else!

I'm having same issue. What gives? It worked for over a week. Stopped / reverted back to previous and then worked for two nights... now back to previous sleep tracking. WHY?!
Vwry frustrating to have received the update and then it disappear. Not cool. And my husband hasn't received either.
Why is it not available to everyone ? Why is it on then off then on and then off again??

That's strange because both our Fitbits have never done any updates, ever, and yet my husbands shows the sleep stage feature without his tracker being update...how's that possible?
Only the app has done updates, and it tells you to keep your tracker near your phone while it's updating, so maybe I'm just not getting it. I don't understand how new features are being progressively rolled out without trackers having to do any updates but I'll keep an eye out for updates on my actual tracker (not the app) Who knows when that will be though.
And if this is the case who knows what else is different and better about the same charge 2 fitbits that other people have that I don't. New features and updates should be happening to the same devices at the same time you would think...
thankyou Marco I'll keep my eye out

I updated my tracker a few days ago, hoping to finally get the sleep stages feature, but they are still a no show. Is there another update coming soon?

They have said that sleep stages are not part of an update.

It is supposed to be part of an update for the tracker, not the app.

Ok so! I just happened to look and the sleep stages has finally changed, it now shows the different sleep stages AND no updates were done on my tracker or the Fitbit app (unless they were secretly done on their own without my knowledge)...so it must not have anything to do with updates whatsoever. Bizarro!
If anyone else is still having issues with it I don't know what to tell you...just keep checking in on the 'sleep' icon on the app. and see if it's changed on its own like mine did
