Sleep stages not being recorded.

My Charge 2 has stopped recording sleep cycles for the past 4-5 days . Some of my family and friends have had the same issue . Is there a problem with the app at the moment?

There is an ongoing issue with sleep stages affecting the Charge 2, Blaze and Alta HR. See the first post in the following thread for the latest updates from fitbit:

Seems that the fix is still a few days away.

Ah I have the exact same thing! Glad to see I'm not the only one, was afraid my fitbit was damaged in some way, but hope the problem will be fixed soon. Love the sleep insights!

Hi,

I'm having the exact same problem with my charge 2.

Last 5 days I only got the asleep-restless-awake graphs while my battery is fully charged and my heartbeat is being recorded correctly.

Keep an eye on that thread linked above as it will have the latest updates from fitbit. Their last update suggests that they are still a few days away from a fix.

Mine reads inaccurately. It tells me I slept 4 hours and 42 minutes last night. It says I was asleep from 1:03 to 6:09. But I turned the lamp off at 11:00 and I drifted off into a good sleep then my alarm woke me at 6:00. My issue is with it's accuracy.

Marco -

The issue is not resolved. The last time I received a Sleep Stages report was the night of 12/31/17. Since then I've only gotten the basic Sleep report, despite redoing all the recommended fixes (restarts, cleaning sensors, re-positioning on wrist, different band tightness, even removing from IPhone7 app/phone, adding back, etc.)

I get that this is an ongoing issue, and I'm sure Fitbit engineers are pulling their hair out trying to fix it. I just wish the Moderators in the various forums would settle on a factual response, and be honest about the matter. The ongoing lack of acknowledgement of the fact this is not going to be resolved by moving the tracker on my wrist will end up being a PR nightmare.

Just be honest, Fitbit. Tell us it's not working as designed. Let us know you're working on it, and even where you suspect the problem is. This is complex stuff -- getting a sensor-based device to work across a wide variety of physiology parameters and body types. You thought it was ready for prime time -- it wasn't. Just be honest. . .

It has been a few months since I had consistent sleep detail.  Happens only a few times in the past few months.  Very frustrating!
