I noticed today that my steps and mileage are not accurate on my Fitbit HR. Walked to store distance 3.6 miles there and back and it only recorded 3.1 miles and I had do even more walking then just there and back.

Hello @VonLee, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to see new faces around. Smiley Happy

If you feel the distance measured by your Fitbit tracker is not accurate, I would like to suggest you to update your stride length. This will help your tracker be more accurate.

To measure and update your Stride Length:

  1. Go to a track or some place where you're sure of the distance.
  2. Count your steps as you walk across that distance, making sure you travel at least 20 steps.
  3. Divide the total distance (in feet) taken by the number of steps to get your stride length.

Your running stride can be calculated the same way if you run instead of walk.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink
