There is a difference between the number of steps on the dashboard and the detailed version of steps, no matter how often I sync. Have tried logging out/force closing the app/restarting my phone. Any help? Alta HR and iPhone XR. App is up to date.

This is a great question. Actually nothing your doing nor is your device or Fitbit Tracker not functioning properly. It’s simply that the Fitbit App and the Online Fitbit Dashboard is just syncing at different times so that is why there is some discrepancy. Mine is different as well. Currently mine are different by about 400 steps. It all catches up if you take your tracker off and sync your app, and wait for the Dashboard to sync and you will see the steps are the same.

Unfortunately this hasn’t made a difference - my detailed step view has had a net difference of 145 to my step total on my dashboard for the last 13 hours. Thanks anyway.

Hello again @Dcscot
When was the last time your Dashboard synced? Try clearing your internet history, then turn your iOS device off completely, wait 1-2 mins then restart your device again. Log back into your online Dashboard and see that makes a difference.
