Steps disappearing after syncing.

When it syncs the correct number of steps appears then as many as 3000 steps disappear

Hello @MissCat thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. 

 

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Tell me, which device are you currently wearing? Since when have you experienced this situation? Have you restarted your Fitbit device?

 

At this moment, I would like to ask you to go to the online Dashboard and check if your steps appear correctly here. If they do, please force-quit the app and open it again. If this doesn't seem to work, log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. 

 

Give these steps a try and let us know the outcome, have a great day.

Restarting didn’t help.  Yes steps are correct on the online dashboard are correct this morning.  The were not yesterday.  I was wearing the Flex2.  This morning I’ve switched to the Alta HR.

I have restarted the fitbit, no change.

This morning when I read your post I checked the online dashboard and it showed 12008 steps. Unfortunately, I had to go to work and now that I’m back home the online dashboard shows 8000 something.

I appreciate you have come back with more details about your issue. At this moment, I would like to ask you for some screenshots of your steps decreasing during the day. This will be very helpful for us to check this further and determine what we should do next.
