Steps don't sync to challenges immediately

When I sync my devise, my challenge totals do not update until some time later

Hello @theresahelen, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. 

I appreciate you have brought this to my attention. Please note that his is normal behavior and it's possible that the steps you've synced will show in your challenges later during the day. This situation happens specially if the people participating in the challenges are in different time-zones. 

The challenge begins and ends in the challenge owner's time zone, so if you're in a different time zone than the challenge owner, you may notice that your challenge leaderboard stats do not always match your dashboard stats.
