Hi @gracey1162, welcome to our Community Forums!

Thanks for letting me know that your steps don't match with your challenges. Because sometimes it may take a little longer to sync your steps, I'd suggest to wait around 15 minutes after syncing to get the challenge updated. There are other factors that may affect your overall steps count, so please make sure of the following:

1. Steps from manually logged activities do not count toward challenges; only steps recorded by your device are counted toward challenges.

2. You used MobileRun or a third party app instead of the actual device.

3. All challenge participants are not in the same time zone.

4. There is a pending update for either your device or the Fitbit app in your phone.

In the meantime, I'd suggest to try the following steps:

1. Force quit the Fitbit app. For instructions see the Apple help article.

2. Restart your device.

3. Open the Fitbit app and sync your device.

4. Tap on the device's icon and make sure the "All day sync" option is enabled.

I'll be around, so let me know the outcome.

Hi @LizzyFitbit @the options you have did not work my app is up to date and I updated my phone 2 days ago. Currently the challenge I am in was started in my time zone everything was fine until Monday and all of the sudden I’m being told the app may not be supported anymore

Hi @gracey1162, it's great to hear from you.

Thanks for your efforts in trying the suggestions posted above, as well for providing the requested information. So I can further investigate this situation, please confirm if by any chance you've manually logged activities on the last days?  Also, about the Fitbit app not supported, did you receive that message in the Fitbit app?

I'll look forward to your reply.

I have not manually added steps and the message popped up on my iPhone 8 after I had closed the Fitbit app however I believe that it was directed towards the off brand charger I had plugged in now since it did it again last night and I had not been in the app

Is this still an issue 3 months later? Mine are syncing with challenges. It’ll show 0, 9, sometimes 7 but it always goes back to zero. It’ll say i met my step goal in the challenge, but not sync the steps. I do not manually enter steps. I’ve never had this issue - even when I’m in a different time zone.

I’m having that issue. I did have a pending up date and have updated but it has only counted the steps from the time I updated, not before. I have 9k steps and only 900 are counted. Please help
