Still no text message alerts on my Ionic

Updated my phone, alerts for my text messages and incoming calls disappeared. I’ve done all the troubleshooting that’s been posted and nothing. I picked Fitbit over apple bc of the fitness specs being so much better, but it still allowed me to work from my watch and be able to stay connected. It is making it to where I will have to switch over. I’ve been an avid Fitbit wearer for over 5 years. This is getting silly though. Any end in sight?
