Switch to google account and can't see friends

After switching to google account on Fitbit app as requested, can no longer see friends and they don't see me. Looking at past forums this issue has been ongoing for over 2 years. Will it ever be resolved or do I need to wait for others to switch to google account? This transaction to google account on Fitbit has been done badly as it did noy account for the ability to see friends with google account and an original Fitbit account.

Hi @MCKComputer    Google never planned on an interim fix.  The way I remember it, the deadline was originally going to be about this time — mid 2025.  Google moved it to Feb 2026.  You’ll need to wait.
