Sync App overwrote data from tracker with Apple Health data.

Hello,

Prior to getting an Alta HR, I was just getting weight from an Alta scale, and I setup a sync app that synced data from the IOS health app into Fitbit. It just brings steps across as one entry for the day.

It seemed like it was a manual process that I needed to click on Sync now each time. I havent used it since I got the Altra HR a few weeks ago. Tonight, it seems like it has done a sync and deleted all the Alta HR data. Is there any way to get it back?

Hello @goodguy, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Please note that as Apple Health and Fitbit do not sync by themselves, if you have used a 3rd-party app in the past and this app has overwritten the data recorded by your Alta HR, my best recommendation is to delete that app from your phone, as Fitbit can't provide support for it.

Now, for the data missing, it's possible it can't be retrieved, but you can manually add activities to enter the information from that particular day.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let us know the outcome.
