Did you mean:

Sync takes a long time / app is asking me to log in each time.

Since last update of the iOS app, the synchronization time between the tracker and the iPhone takes a very long time. More than 10 minuets.

And if I start the app, I always have to log in to my account.

Do someone have the same problem?

Hello @ThomasMagnum, I hope you're having a great day, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Fitbit Community.

Have you restarted your tracker and your phone lately? If so, I would like to provide you some steps to check in order to improve the syncing speed in the Fitbit app:

  1. Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal.
  2. Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the syncing process.
  3. Restart Bluetooth on your phone by going to Settings > Bluetooth (please use this method instead of turning it off/on through Control Center)

If your tracker is still having trouble syncing my best recommendation would be setting up your tracker as a new device to reset the connection between the tracker and your phone.

Don't worry, none of the information previously stored in your account will be deleted.

To set up your tracker as a new device:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  3. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  4. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

After setting up your tracker as a new device, in the Fitbit app go to Account > Alta > Notifications and enable them once again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.
