In the most current Fitbit app and the previous version, although the app recognizes my steps, it doesn't always show the correct number of hours for 250 steps (or more), even when those 250 steps occurred. I've tried to use Sync Now button and nothing happens, so I quit and restart the app, and usually it syncs properly.
In addition, when adding to my water intake, often it recognizes the addition, but then jumps back to the previous amount (restarting the app solves this issue, but shouldn't be required).
I contacted the help desk, but they were no help at all. Disappointing!

Hello @Pismo311
What device do you have.
What platform are you using.

I'm using iOS 11.2.1 on iPhone 6 and Fitbit app is 2.44.2. In addition to the previously noted issues with the Fitbit app, if I add food, then change to another food, often the # calories (along with % carbs, fats & protein) does not adjust correctly. So the calorie count is higher than it should be. Quitting and restarting the Fitbit app corrects the error. The Fitbit app is totally screwed up and frustrating.

The same as me but mine is a 6S
I would do a restart first to see if that corrects your issue first.

I did not restart my Fitbit Charge 2, as the current problem occurs several times daily and quitting and restarting the Fitbit app fixes the issue, at least temporarily. The app is the problem.
And, unfortunately, now getting on my soapbox, I am angry that Fitbit believes it's acceptable to use their app (and the website when I log in) as a sales tool to sell more product. I did not give permission to Fitbit, and there's no way to disable these pop-ups. This is not appropriate and I am considering a legal remedy to stop this abusive behavior.
