Hello @Reemski, thank you so much for taking the time to reply and send your screenshots, I hope you're doing well.

I've forwarded the information and our engineers are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. In the meantime please try the following;

  • If you're logging a custom exercise, please fill the calories field before saving the activity. You can also go back to the previous exercises, delete the calories shown and logging them manually once again. Let me know if the activities sync afterwards.
  • Log your exercises through the activities section in the online Dashboard.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this issue has caused. I appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track. Additionally, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Hello @Reemski, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board! Smiley Happy

Are you logging the exercises manually inside the app or are you logging them through the online Dashboard? Which exercises are you trying to log in manually?

At this moment, my best recommendation would be updating the app (as we have just released a new version) and if this doesn't seem to work, please log out from the app, the force-close it by double tapping the home button on your phone and swiping it up. Then open it and log back in.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let me know the outcome! Smiley Wink

Also my app is up to date. And I have tried force quit to restart multiple times and it still won't sync.

Hello @Reemski, thanks for taking the time to reply, I hope you're having a great day. Smiley Happy

Are you manually logging the activities through the app or through the online Dashboard? Could you please check the activity section on your online Dashboard to check if the activities are showing here? If so, please take a screenshot of your app and the online Dashboard so I can take a better look at this situation.

I'll be waiting for your reply!

Hello,

I have this same issue on my iPhone 6S Plus.  I am on IOS 11.2.1, and my fitbit app is version 2.44.2(739).  My tracker, Blaze, does automatically track exercise and it will sync to the online dashboard.

However, when I manually enter an exercise in the app, it will not sync.  The situation is exactly as described in this thread.

I have tried editing the exercise as directed, removing calories and adding them back in, however the exercise still will not sync.

This did not fix the problem.  Manually logged exercise still not syncing

@Dhebard and @viozel -

For comparison and analysis for anyone having issues-

I booked a manual exercise for a test and it immediately was reflected on my web dashboard without requiring me to initiate a sync - similar to food entry immediately being posted.

  • Alta HR - though it shouldn't make a difference
  • iPhone SE
  • iOS 11.0.2
  • Fitbit for iOS 2.44.2 (739)

So I see various recommendations, that I have attempted but am still having the same issue. I have the current Fitbit app installed. My manually added activities continue to show in pink (not synced) even when I repeatedly try to sync them, restart my phone, the app etc. Suggestions?

Hello @Jana57, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, thanks for joining the conversation. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. I would also like to thank you for letting us know the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. At this moment, I would like to suggest you to turn off the WiFi on your phone and force a sync by pulling down the screen while on the Dashboard in the Fitbit app. Then check if the exercises were synced. If they synced, please make sure you don't have any child block or VPN enabled on your WiFi network when syncing the Fitbit app.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let us know the outcome.

Same problem with mine.  If I manually log the exercise and don’t put in the calories, all the calories I “ earned” in that time period are deleted.

if I delete the exercise they come back.

if I add the calories before I finish the manual log, they appear but don’t sync
