Syncing to new phone

I have tried to sync my Alta to my new iPhone 8 Plus, not working! I turned my phone off, Bluetooth off, reinstalled Fitbit app and turned off other Bluetooth devices, what’s up? Time for a software update, I think. Any help out there??

I had tried everything except disconnecting it from my old phone! Duh! Connected now, THANK YOU!!!
