I get text alerts on my Fitbit Alta, but then they show out of order on my phone. It also does not always light up when I raise my wrist or when I tap it. Any suggestions?

It takes a bit of a knack for the twist of your wrist to make it light up. Sometimes it takes me 2 tries for me to light it up. 

Also the tap takes a bit of practice. You'll get it.
