Text messages still being sent to Charge 2 after upgrading to Charge 4

I recently upgraded my Fitbit to a Charge 4 and gave my Charge 2 to my wife. I unlinked the Charge 2 on my Fitbit app (iOS) and linked the app to the Charge 4. She linked the 2 to her Fitbit app. Now my wife gets my texts on the Charge 2 as well as me getting them on the Charge 4. How do I stop my texts from pushing to the Charge 2? She gets her own notifications and mine both.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your concern about the text messages being sent to your previous Charge 2 and new Charge 4 devices. Thank you for providing the additional details, I am here to help. I recommend removing the Charge 2 tracker from your phone's Bluetooth settings:

 

  1. Go into your phone's Bluetooth menu.
  2. Tap on the icon next to Charge 2.
  3. Press Forget this device.
