Tiles not changing when viewing different days

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

When I view my Fitbit app on my iPhone my tiles don't change my info with my different information that has been synced to the app. Each tile only shows the synced information for the current say. My sleep tile will stay blank and ask "How did you do?" and the rest of the tiles will show the current days information. If I walked 250+ steps for 5 hours today it'll show i walked 250+ hours for 5 hours the previous day and so forth even if i only walked 3+ hours the previous day. I really don't know how to fix this. If i look at the Fitbit dashboard on the computer it's completely fine and everything is in order day after day. Has anyone experienced this and actually fixed it?

I've noticed the same thing on the food tile for the past couple of weeks.  Didn't pay any attention to the other tiles though.  The bar graphs appear to be accurate.

If I may hazard a guess, you really haven't played around with the app that much.

The arrows are only meant to scroll back the "Main Indicators" section of the dashboard. It does not roll the other tiles back in time, just steps, miles, calories and active minutes. Designed in such a manner, I suppose, to increase performance, and some of the other tiles available on the dashboard don't lend themselves to summaries like the "Main four" - heart beat for instance.

Pressing on the "250 steps" tile gives you a much better representation of what you have done as compared to what would be displayed if that tile went back in time like the "Main four". And touching each individual day gives you the same visual as the dashboard tile does if you need it.

The same thing goes for the sleep and food tiles. Press on them and check out the summary and detailed data available for you in the app

And again, pressing on the "Main Four" tiles gives you weekly totals as well as the daily counts. Let's take steps as an example. Press on a day and you get a bar chart showing the relative counts for each 15 minute period. Pressing on the chart will expand it out in a manner that allows you to touch a bar and have the app tell you how many steps you took in what 15 minute period.

That is my take on why it works that way.

I kinda like how they have done it. The fact that I like it and have been writing "stuff" like that for over 35 years and you question it, doesn't make either of us wrong, just of different opinions.

But I truly think you need to pay around with it some more. Take a look and tell me what you think. If you think it still "stinks", then like I said - different opinions.

If I may, please take a look at my response to @shayestaur just after your post, and tell me what you think.

I think it's a bit much to say I haven't played around with my app considering I've had different Fitbit's for over five years now.

I do appreciate your response and your explanation. I do notice that steps, calories...the main tiles do are consistently updated when you scroll through the arrows, I just figured, all of the tiles would be.

I know that I can easily press through each tile and get my accurate information for the day, week, and month, and even longer if I please, but if I was just hoping to view separate days on the dashboard accurately as well.

I will still continue to use and support Fitbit as I do really find a great benefit with it, but just wish this was more accurate.

As I said, I was "hazarding a guess" you were new.

And just because you have had Fitbit devices for over five years doesn't mean you are an old hand with the iOS app. And I was trying to understand that.

My first device sync'd with my computer, as did my second. Only my third syncs with my phone. And I got that 7 months ago,
