I’ve been looking at https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2435- it’s a bit like getting the app the first time and finding things - to see how to do things I did and there are a few bits that don’t work how they did but I’ve found what I need. May not give you exactly what you want but no sign the old dashboard is coming back so best option.
I’ve found these over the last few weeks that may be of interest given comments on other threads.
You can reorder the Today page so the steps etc don’t appear at the top. It might mean some people can see information they want without scrolling.
On the Today screen click edit in the top right. Under “MANAGE TODAY ITEMS” move what you would like to see above steps etc above Activity and save. You will then see them before the big white space with steps.
@JarkaB if I’m understanding your comment on a thread now closed to comments the new app does show some information you are looking for, if not in the same way, the circles do show your progress - the segments are greyed out / coloured depending on what you’ve achieved so far. The text alongside also says how you are doing I.e. 5 of 7 days of exercise this week. When you reach the goal there is a subtle flash and the circle fills in with colour.
