Tracking exercise -- distance way off

I've been using my Flex to track my walking for a while. But on Friday, I got a new phone. I walked this morning around 2.5 miles but the GPS tracker said 4.27 miles and when I looked at the map of what the Flex thought I walked, it was way off. Like it showed me doubling back in some places which didn't happen.

Do I need to set somethings differently because of my new phone? I went from an iPhone 5s to the iPhone 6s.

I'm also having this problem, since Friday when I upgraded from a iPhone 6S+ to a 7+. My steps are still accurate, but the distance is way off in the app. It told me just this morning that I walked 2 miles in 3200 steps, when it's usually 4000 steps. This needs to be fixed.

I think I fixed it.  I turned off Location Services for the FitBit app - then restarted my phone.  Then I turned on the phone, turned off Location Services overall, turned off my phone & back on again.

I just went for a short walk to see if it was fixed & it seemed accurate.  I'll walk much longer tomorrow & will see if it continues to be okay.
