Last week, in the track exercise mode, my Charge 3 stopped tracking the miles I walked, as well as the pace.  It does keep track of my steps when I walk.  It does seem to record 0.2 or 0.3 miles and then stops recording distance.  It does seem to record the time duration up to when I hit Finish.  Any thoughts or suggestions?

Sure @Mikey10353 what mode are you using to record your walks?

Letting fitbit decide?

Using the manual walk mode on the tracker? With or without GPS?

Using the Fitbit App?

Are the steps being counted correctly?

Hi @Mikey10353 ,

I've experienced a very similar issue when starting an exercise (run or walk) from my android phone. What was happening to me is that my phone was stopping the Fitbit app from using my GPS once my screen timed out. So the issue was with the phone's permissions interfering with the app. This varies phone-to-phone, but to remedy on my Android device I go to settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions > location > ✓ allow all the time. If you're having trouble, you may want to try uninstalling the Fitbit app, reinstall and ensure you allow access to location when prompted or check your phones manual (ie YouTube) for how to check the location setting.

I am using manual tracking with Fitbit app and using GPS (IOS).

The number of steps are accurate.
