Hello,
I’m having a lot of trouble getting my new iPhone 16e to connect to my Inspire 3, and I’ve tried just about everything:
- Cleared the watch’s user data
- Restarted the watch (multiple times)
- Reinstalled the Fitbit app (multiple times)
- Confirmed all app permissions are enabled
- Restarted my phone (multiple times)
- Did a forced reset on my phone
- Turned Bluetooth off and on again, waiting for intervals of time in-between
- Disabled other Bluetooth connections on my phone
- Reset my phone’s network settings
- Placed the watch and phone directly next to each other
- Made sure iOS is fully up to date
- Tried pairing the two devices in locations other than home - just in case any Bluetooth interference was happening
I even paired the watch with my partner’s Android phone to confirm the watch still works — it connected instantly. After unpairing from their phone, I tried the entire process above again on my iPhone, but no luck.
No matter what I do, my iPhone just doesn’t seem to recognize the Inspire 3. In the Fitbit app, it gets stuck on “Searching for your Inspire 3” and eventually times out without finding anything. Meanwhile, the watch sits right next to it, unpaired, displaying the message to download the Fitbit app.
I’m genuinely at a loss here — and starting to lose my mind. I miss my watch! Please help.

Please note that I no longer have access to my old phone. It's also been entirely wiped of my data, etc.
