Do you still have your old phone? If so, check that it doesn't have a link to the fitbit in the bluetooth settings that may be blocking the connection from the new phone.
I also note that the 8 plus is not (yet) on the list of supported devices. Hopefully others with that phone will confirm that it does work ok.

No, unfortunately I am having the same issue with my Blaze not synching to my iPhone 8 Plus. It's now January, two full months after the first person noted this issue the first time, and the iPhone 8 Plus is still apparently not a supported device. What gives FitBit?? It's not lie you didn't know the phones were coming out and it's been two months since another user reported this problem.
