@Trafking Hope you're having fun stepping while achieving your personal goals! Yes, of course you can use two Fitbit devices using the same iPad; however, make sure that each Fitbit device is linked to a different Fitbit account and you'd have to keep logging out and then logging in using the Fitbit App to both accounts. If this didn't resolve your question, or you're still unclear on this, let me know and I'll be happy to work through it with you.
Oh and btw, you might have noticed that I moved your post from the Windows 10 App to the iOS App since you'll find more relevant info related to your Fitbit App here. This also helps us to keep the Community organized for everyone. Thanks for your understanding about it!

I have the charge 2 and have an op to get another one.

I understand, but the other question is do they have to be different models or could they be the same model?

@Trafking those are great questions! If you're going to use two trackers of the same model they have to be paired to different accounts. For example, I already have a Charge 2 and I'd like to purchase another Charge 2, I'd need to create a separate account from the one I use now for them to work. If in case, I have my Charge 2 but I'll be purchasing a Flex 2, then I can set them both in the account I use now.
Hope this makes sense. Feel free to post back!
