This issue has been resolved! Thank you so much for everybody's patience while this issue was being worked out.
Fitbit Update 7/5/2016
It was recently brought to our attention that some users are unable to connect their Fitbit and Facebook accounts on the iOS App. When trying to connect their two accounts, they'll receive the error message below. This is a known issue that our team is working to resolve.

Looking for friends to add on Facebook through the iOS app has worked in the past, but I've tried to do so several times over the last few days and been met with an error. Seems to be a persistent issue.
It throws error id: 6CA2F64D:E5A6_A92D92DB:01BB_5772FEF6_59B25DD4:7999

I'm getting the same error. Ended up adding friends via the web dashboard instead, but it's a massive pain not being able to do from the iOS app

Just as @JKay85 suggested, I would recommend adding friends via the web dashboard while this issue is being worked out. Apologies for any potential inconvenience.
