Unable to add an activity manually

This issue has been plaguing me for awhile now.  I use the FitBit app on my iPhone 13 Pro.  I have merged it with my Google account.  I have always had to use fitbit.com to manually add an activity when I forget to wear my Zip on my walk.  Now that the web application is disabled, I can no longer add an activity.  The FitBit app on my iPhone just will not work.  I click the + on the Fitbit app on my iPhone and I get a blank screen.  I know my Zip is old technology but adding an activity should have nothing to do with the FitBit device you own.  I have uninstalled and re-installed the application.  I have rebooted my phone.  I know it is only 2500 steps but come on guys, I am trying to walk to Mars!  🙂    Honestly, has anyone else had the same problem?  If so, what is the work around?

Hello @ZipUser1967 and welcome to the Community.  Your Zip might be the issue.  Please try the following.  Tap on the small pencil icon in the upper right of your app.  Do you have an Exercise tile in the Activity section?  If so, toggle it on and tap on Save.  I hope you will see the option to manually log an Activity when you tap on the "+".  If it's there, great.  You can't add steps in the app like you did on the web.  You log a walk.  Tap on the Activity option and enter Walk.  You need to be a little creative.  Choose your start and time duration for any time period you were inactive.  Enter one mile in the distance, because 2000 steps is a pretty good average steps per mile.  Call it good.

If you still have that blank screen when you tap on the "+", then there is no workaround.
