Unable to categorize exercise as cross country skiing

I went skiing, and used my fitbit with the setting hike so I would get GPS-tracking. When I want to change exercise via the "categorize exercise"-function in the app it won't allow me to write anything, only choose between golf, hike, walk, run etc. When I do get to choose cross country skiing it automatically changes back to hike a few seconds after. What's the problem and how do I fix it?

Hello @Soload, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Please note that activities tracked directly from the exercise mode on your tracker can't be renamed, you can only be able to choose the predetermined exercises from the list shown, which is why the activity changed automatically to Hike. At this moment the only exercises that can be re-categorized are the ones logged manually or auto-detected by SmartTrack

I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
