Cannot clear data for foods "recent" or "frequent". I have iOS platform. Is there a way? If not there should be. It takes way too much time to shuffle through to find what you need.

Hello @LJnPGH, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to see new faces around!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. At this moment it's not possible to delete your Frequent or Recent foods as these are intended to be shortcuts for when you either want to log a food from these lists again. In terms of an update, there aren't currently any plans to release a feature that will allow users to delete these lists. Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us and our team will let you know if anything changes.
I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

I am glad this finally came to the attention of Fitbit, after at least four years of complaints. Thnk that is a sign that thee community, voting forums don't work. The frequent and recent lists are not helpful as laid out. Frustrating that folks continue to ask this questions and it is ignored by fitbit.

Has this been fixed yet? I have foods that I only ate one time several months ago, and they still pop up in my frequent list. Or, when I accidentally put in a food that doesn't belong, now every time I enter that food, the frequent list chooses the wrong one. They could at least sort in alphabetical order.

i don't understand fitbit's attempts to ignore this issue. i figure i paid a lot for my fitbit and in exchange, i should at least be able to delete a recent, frequent food item

I agree.....sorting is important Deleting is also important
personally I feel that one sorted list would be less confusing than scanning thru two unsorted lists, particularly when an item has “disappeared” until you reload the app

an item i ate a year ago is on my frequent list. it does no good to ask why as that question will be ignored. im very, very careful now what i add. myfitnesspal is easier to manage.

I'm on Android and totally agree with IOS users. The ability to edit and delete items from the frequent and recent food lists is desperately needed. The current refresh logic is either broken or non-existent as my frequent items log contains items that I've only consumed once, yet other items that I consume and log daily, do not appear on the list forcing me to search or scan the item every day. Very frustrating.
Otherwise, I love the tools available with FitBit.

I agree with everyone there should be a way to delete foods from frequent or recent because some of us started with bad choices and have now changed how and what we eat but we have to continually scan new foods because our list is full of old food we don't eat anymore and the new food wont override and stay on the list.

My RECENT and FREQUENT food lists are getting too long. Maybe if it was alphabetical it would made it easier but deleting unwanted foods makes more sense. Any updates on being able to delete foods you no longer want on those lists?

Not good, not being able to delete a food item; clutters the field and makes these less coinvent to use.

Agreed! This has been a request since before dirt. Is it ever going to be changed? I quit using this feature because of the difficulty involved.

This is such a basic function that I am appalled that Fitbit does not support it. I was thinking about using the Fitbit app to track my food, but now I'm looking elsewhere! Lose It! allows you to do that!

It's very difficult on me not to be able to remove some things for my frequent Foods. I am now a recovering alcoholic and I would prefer not to be constantly reminded about the alcohol I used to drink it's somewhat of a trigger! Please address this Fitbit

No this is not helpful! It is a such a basic process because once the list is full you cannot add anything else. Sometimes you decide you want to change your diet and its very inconvenient not to be able to add items and delete items you may no longer eat. I notice that this facility is being requested by many people, if you do not wish to amend it you may as well remove the facility.

Agreed! There are too many foods in "recent" and "frequent" to shuffle through, and many of these are no longer needed. There should be functionality added to allow you to delete these entries. And...this should not be "rocket science" to add such functionality.

At the very least we, as the users, should be able to delete specific items that we do not intent to consume again. For instance, my frequent and resent list include foods that I have not logged in years. Yes three years ago I ate them frequently, but my eating habits have changed. There has to be a way for us to simply delete items that are no longer consumed.

This problem is probably at the top of the list of being 'most annoying'. At a minimum, the 'recent' list should be a finite list of items, perhaps 25 or 30. Items that get re-used rotate to the top of the list again and anything not re-used eventually drops off. Simple. Creating a fully editable list as some people would like to have might be a little more difficult. It's hard to say why issues like this aren't being corrected after several years.
