Unable to create closed groups in Fitbit app

Not what was asked. We are all finding that when trying to create a closed group it will not let us do so having followed your instructions to the T. Seriously very poor service.

@Colingm I've moved your post to the iOS board so we can keep the forums organized. Thanks for bringing this to our attention and I'm sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. Let me share that when creating a closed group, you need to enter the group name and description, as well as add an image. Once that is done the Create option will be available to press and complete the process.

If the issue persists after entering those fields, please give a try to the following:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  3. Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  4. Try creating a closed group one more time.

@Colingm   I'm going to flag your post to get a moderator's attention.  I hope I can get more help for you.  This thread was started in the web dashboard forum, bit closed groups only exist in the Fitbit app.

  • Do you use an Android or iPhone?
  • How far do you get in the set up before you can't go farther?

Managed to create a closed group. Nowhere near as a good as before but it will have to do. This is a big step backwards.
