My iphone will not allow me to download the app after it was removed from my phone because it recognizes my email as belonging to another user. How do I correct this?

Thanks for the details provided. This is odd as the Fitbit app should be available to install on your iPhone regardless if you have or not an account. To work on this together, let's make sure you're installing the correct app from the App Store by going to this link.
Once that is done and only if you have a Fitbit account, please select Log In and enter your credentials. On the other hand, if you're a new Fitbit user, select Get Started and follow the on-screen instructions.
