It’s the first day of NZDST today and this may have something to do with my problem.

I noticed that I am never hitting my sleep schedule.  So I went in and looked, and it’s set to ridiculous times.  It says I’m meant to go to sleep at 11pm and wake up at 7:45am.  If I woke up at 7:45am I’d be very late for work, seeing as work starts at 8am.  It appears to have adjusted my sleep times for daylight savings time, by adding an hour to each which is silly as everyone knows you’re just meant to adjust your own body clock, you can’t go waking up an hour later.

So I thought, okay I’ll just go in and change it.  So I put in 10pm to 6:45am, immediately it added an hour to each time.  Then I saw the remove start and finish time options, so I tried these.  Then went out and looked at the screen, no sleep schedule.  Then put in the times I wanted again, went out, again it had added an hour.  So I thought to trick it, I’d put in an hour earlier ie 9pm to 5:45am, still this didn’t work.  It made it 10pm to 7:45am.  It seems it wants me to sleep in every day, which I would love, but my boss would not.

Please help,

Jody

Hello @petitmiam, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around. Smiley Happy

This seems like a very odd situation, have you updated the Fitbit app and the OS on your phone already? If so, please try the following in the app:

  1. Force-close the app by double tapping the home button on your phone, then swipe up the app. If this doesn't seem to work:
  2. Log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else. Smiley Wink

Hello Marco,

So it did come right after a while by itself.  I went in the next day and it was set an hour earlier, like I’d set it to trick it into being an hour later.  Then I just put the times back in as I wanted them and it worked. I guess it was just wanting a phone restart or something after daylight savings kicked in.  My phone probably got restarted because the battery went flat, that’s pretty normal for me! Oh and I fully close all my apps several times a day, so that probably helped too.  I’m laughing because my mother got an iPad and I didn’t see her for six months, during which time I won an iPad.  When I saw her, I told her about closing apps on her iPad, and at the bottom of the screen comes up every single app on the thing!  She hadn’t closed a single app in the entire six months!

Thank you,

Jody
