In order to locate the Fitbit app, please open the App Store in your iPad and tap on the option marked as iPhone Store. That way, you'll be able to find the Fitbit app and download it in your iPad.

By going to www.fitbit.com/setup through the ipad mini, you will be dir3cted to the app.
