Hello,
I'm writing here today because I just got my fitbit charge 2 a week ago and I bought this fit bit especially for the sleep graph that was presented on the website. Unfortunatly I only got 1 night where I got the correct graph style with the REM cycle and all. The app is showing the old graph style most of the time. I tried to reboot the tracker and reinstall the app but it didn't work.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem? I would be very grateful.
Thank you

Welcome to the Forums @CyrilUsa. Hello @ashwolve.
As @ashwolve has mentioned already, you can find some explanations as to what could be happening on this help article.
Additionally to that, if the tracker didn't recognize any considerable changes on your HR then it will have a harder time determining what sleep stage you were on.
Some users have found that if you edit the sleep log and add or subtract a minute or two, the calculations for sleep stages will be ran again and they will being showing up. I cannot guarantee that it will work but it is well worth a try.
Finally, I will be moving your thread to the iOS board as it is definitely better suited for it.
If you have any further questions, please let us know.

@CyrilUsa Hi not sure if you have found an answer yet but have you tried the usual suggestion of tightening the strap slightly like what you do with exercising (Fitbit say to adjust up the arm slightly but I realise that arms are different and you cannot always move further up) - as it stands are there any gaps in the HR graphs that are not due to you taking the device off? this could also indicate the strap is too loose - this is all I have at the moment but if I find more I will let you know
in the mean time if this works could you let me know also
Kind Regards

Hi @ashwolve, thank you so much for your suggestion. I followed all the instructions, the Fit Bit is on my non dominant hand two finger above the wrist and it is tight.
Regardless of theses direction I don't see any good reason why that would get me the old graph. It's a programming problem that should only depend on the version of your software/app and firmware of your device. I checked yesterday again and found out what is the last version on the fitbit which is right now Firmware version: 22.22.55.2.
My app is up to date because I downloaded the last version and the apple store don't ask me if I want to update the app.
I have seen many other post of people complaining about the same thing but didn't found anything that actually works. If a programmer see this post, please get on it, I feel like I have been lied to about the product I have purchased because that's not the sleep graph the website showed before I purchased my charge 2.
Thank you

Hi @CyrilUsa Thank you for the update - I hope its not too tight as this could effect it as well - you should still be able to fit 1 finger under the strap - I know its not much help but I have mine resting just above the large boney area on the outside of my wrist and very rarely have this issue - it works for some and not for others
Yes I have seen the other forums as well along with other issues within the sleep graph and some have been ongoing for over a year now.
im sorry I could not have been of more use - the only other suggestion is to wipe over the sensors with a lint free cloth (maybe a microfiber cloth) just to make sure nothing has gotten stuck to it
This may also sound silly but have you got the settings to auto sleep (Live Data at the bottom of the settings page - the sleep sensitivity no longer works as apparently it was for an older app but I have mine set to sensitive just incase) or do you add the sleep manually? this also may be an option.
you have probably already checked this out but thought I would add just to cover all bases
https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1314?q=sleep+stages&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1
if it helps I agree these issues are probably a server link issue or could be lack of signal to the servers but more should be done by Fitbit to assist in resolving this matter - im on android so not the best person to ask about the workings of the app on Apple equipment - again sorry
Kind Regards
Wayne

Hello LanzuraFitbit
I read the article you sent me and after a week I can say that my problem is resolved.
I was lauching the sleep throught the app and now I just let the Fitbit detect that I am asleep. So far it worked a 100% of time.
Thank you, it really helped!
