Unable to log data on Temperature & Symptoms tile

For the last two months (approximately), I have been unable to enter my daily temperature in the Fitbit app connected to my Charge 4 device. During more severe COVID times, I was doing this as a health pre-check for work (as part of a volunteer Fitbit Care Daily-Check-In experience) but now I am just interested in seeing my temperature trend.

When clicking the "Temperature" button in the app:

I see (alternatively) one of the following images

  • Image #1: Displaying "UH-OH We've lost you. We cannot find the page you're looking for. Is there a typo in the url?"
    1.png
  • Image #2: Displaying "Sorry, that page is following a different trail. Since it's unavailable, step over to one of these instead: HOME BASE - Start another journey."

My questions include:

  1. Is recording of symptoms (now) a "Premium-only" feature?
I had some form of "Premium" during that "Daily-Check-In" program but that benefit expired more than one year ago.
  2. Has this capability (to manually enter symptoms) gone away?
  3. How do I correct this? I've tried the "Uninstall app, Reboot iPhone, Reinstall app, Login to app, and Try Again" rigamarole (in several different incantations) and the "magic" doesn't seem to happen.
  4. PLEASE NOTE: I am not talking about the nightly "Skin temperature" readings that automatically come in every morning; that happens in an automatic process. The failure I see is when I try to log my symptoms manually.
  5. ADDITIONAL NOTE: I am not talking about any "menstrual health" input. This is/was a generic feature available for both men and women.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to the Community, @bkubena@LZeeW Thanks for sharing your insights.

@bkubena Thanks for the steps tried prior to posting, and the screenshots provided. I understand how helpful the Temperature & Symptoms tile is for you, and I'm sorry for this inconvenience. Before anything else, I'd also like to clarify that this tile is available to all our members regardless if they have a Premium subscription.

That being said, let me share this has been passed along to our team so they can look into this. I appreciate your patience and I'll update this thread as soon as I receive more information from them.

Hello @bkubena and welcome to the Community.  I know exactly what temperature and symptom logging you are writing about.  This was introduced early in the pandemic.  I'm very sure that this isn't (or wasn't ??) a Premium feature.  In order to access this feature a user taps on their Discover icon > Health & Fitness Stats > Temperature & Symptoms (NOT Temperature, if available).  A thread from 2020 shows that a user must sign a consent form to participate.

This is the part where I am left scratching my head.  I still have this available on my Fitbit app (v3.74) for my Sense 2 (NOT my Sense 2 specific temperature).  But I can't set it up on my Luxe.  If you follow the path I described, is it in the available Health & Fitness Stats?

I hope another use will add their experience.
