I thought i'd share this fix with the community as this was a pain setting up my new Fitbit charge 6. For me it was settings in the screen time section. I got this answer from GPT:

Check for Restrictions in iOS Settings

  • Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions.
  • Check if Bluetooth Sharing is restricted under Privacy settings.
  • If restrictions are enabled, disable them for the Fitbit app or entirely for testing purposes.
