I used to be able to see txt msgs in my fit bit from my apple phone and now it has stopped. What do I need to do to get this to work again?

Check in the app settings to make sure it is still set to send text messages to your device.  (rectangle in top right hand corner of app desktop, select device, select notifications).

Also make sure have not turned off notifications on the device itself.  From notifications troubleshooting help article:

TURN ON THE DEVICE'S NOTIFICATION SETTING

Fitbit Blaze, Fitbit Charge 2, Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Surge, and Fitbit Versa have a Notification setting on the device. To verify that it's on:

  • Blaze—Hold the top right button for 3 seconds.
  • Charge 2—On the clock screen, press and hold the button.
  • Ionic & Versa—From the clock screen, hold the back button and then swipe to the quick settings screen. Make sure Notifications is set to On.
  • Surge—Swipe the touchscreen until you get to the Settings menu, then find Notifications.

Hello @Sullyo, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. It's always nice to see you around @Baltoscott, thanks for all your help. Smiley Happy

@Sullyo, thanks for sharing your experience with your Fitbit device and for reporting this issue to us. Tell me, are you only missing text Notifications or is this issue affecting other Notifications? If you have already tried @Baltoscott's troubleshooting steps, I would like to suggest you to try the following:

- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and tap on tracker. Then tap on Forget this Device.

- Force-close the Fitbit app by double tapping the home button on your phone and swiping up the app.

- Open the app again and tap on Account > Your Tracker > Notifications. You will receive the following Pop-up:

- Then, once you tap on Set Up, the app will begin setting up your tracker with the Bluetooth on your phone, which will prompt the next pop-up:

- Tap Pair

- Once you get back to the tracker options, tap on Notifications an enable the ones you'd like to receive.

Additionally, please go to your phone Settings > Notifications > Fitbit and Settings > Notifications > Messages and check that the following is enabled:

  • Allow Notifications
  • Show on Lock Screen
  • Show in History

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.
