I am on IOS 12 apple iPhone XR.
i purchased my Fitbit versa on Amazon in June 2019.
I was away on holiday in turkey and tried to update to Turkish time zone but found I couldn’t. The Fitbit stopped syncing and I factory reset and now when I go to set the device up it’s not discoverable and doesn’t connect.
i checked with customer services if I could wear it in pool - they said yes.
i don’t know what to do.
ive deleted the app and downloaded again. I restored the Fitbit and I’ve updated my iPhone. Please help

First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation prior to posting. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your Versa with your iPhone XR.
Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Keep in mind that your Fitbit displays the time that's configured on your mobile device, therefore, if such settings are configured to Turkish time zone, the Fitbit will display the same information with the syncing process once you setup your device.
Just as our Support team informed you, your Versa is swim-proof up to 50 meters, therefore, you can use it in a pool without any concern.
