I just downloaded the newest app for iOS (6/30/2020 11pm est) and am unable to sign into the app. Curiously, I can sign into my dashboard on Firefox using the same user name and password. My iPhone is a 7, if that matters.
All this started because I was unable to synch my Charge 2 with my iPhone. At first I thought that had something to do with the watch. However, I'm able to pair my Charge 2 with my iPhone just fine; the app, however, gave me "The operation could not be completed. (com.fitbit.HTTP error 403.)"

Update: I use a VPN (PrivateInternetAccess) most of the time, and just now decided that since I've tried everything else I'd turn off the VPN.
Suddenly I can sign into the app and sync my Charge 2 with my iPhone. I've used a VPN for a few years, and can't recall having an issue syncing my fitbit with my phone in the past. Hmm...
