Hi @nordicmomma. Welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for sharing that your data isn't syncing to your iPhone 7, even though it's being tracked by your Fitbit device. You've done a good job in making sure to have your phone updated and your Fitbit fully charged. I've gone ahead and contacted our Support team to share your details but I was told that you already have a case created with them. Your case is on good hands and they'll get in touch with you via email soon.

If you need anything else, don't hesitate to let me know.

Hello

no my fitbit is still functioning properly and now I cannot update the with the firmware update.

Maybe an Apple Watch is in my future. Unless a human can take ownership of the issue and fix it I see no reason to keep the device. What is the return policy for full refund?

Hi @nordicmomma. I'm glad to see you here again.

Thanks for keeping me updated and sharing that your Fitbit device isn't syncing the firmware correctly. To work on this together, may I know the model of your Fitbit device? Also, what's the error message displayed when trying the firmware update?

Please give a try to the following steps in the given order:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings in your phone and forget your Inspire from the list.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  3. Restart your Fitbit device.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and tap on Set Up a Device.
  5. Choose your Fitbit device, select the option to replace and follow the onscreen instructions.

This will reconnect your Fitbit device to the Fitbit app so the firmware can start downloading correctly. About your other inquiry, we provide refunds to any order purchased from our Fitbit store that is within 45 days as described here. If your Fitbit device was purchased from another retailer, I'd recommend getting in touch with them so they can provide you with more details about the refund policy.
