Unable to update Charge 3.

I have tried for the last 4 days to update my Charge3 and it will not do it.  Now my IPhone app won’t update and constantly says its updating which clearly it isn’t!!!   Any ideas?

Hello @elamjac thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. 

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Tell me, have you restarted your Charge 3 lately? Have you restarted your phone as well? If so, I would like to suggest you the following steps:

  • Plug in your Charge 3 and make sure it's charging. 
  • Open the Fitbit app and start the update, make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around. 
  • If the device is still not updating, restart it again and try the following:
    1. Go to your phone Settings > Bluetooth and remove the Charge 3 from here
    2. Force-quit the Fitbit app.
    3. Open the app and try to update again.

Give these steps a try and if your Charge 3 is still having trouble updating, please let us know.
