Unable to use IPhones with charge 5 Fitbit to pay anymore

Just been on the phone for around three hours with Fitbit my bank and Google all to be passed around saying it’s nothing to do with them. Since the 29th of July when Fitbit pay disappeared and Google wallet appeared. my Fitbit charge five can no longer make payments with my starling card. The staff at Fitbit seemed unaware of the change and had no idea how to fix this. Basically, I’ll have to buy a iWatch to be able to pay with a watch in future.
basically it’s nothing to do with the card as that has been added successfully to Google wallet and works correctly and has been added to Apple Pay and works correctly over contactless on my phone. Just unable to work with charge five. is there anybody out there who has an iPhone and has managed to use the Fitbit app and add a card to the google wallet within Fitbit app and successfully added to the charge 5 band? And does it make contactless payments from the charge5 since 29th of July update.

@JayJ2024 have you succesfully added your card to the Google Wallet on your Fitbit? Each of you card needs to be individually added to your Fitbit. Or have the cards been axded but do not work for paying. More info on the issue is needed.

Not all cards that work with Google Wallet, work with Google Wallet on Fitbit.

I have given up as spend around 7hours on the phones and and chats not
getting anywhere. All staff I've spoken too seem clueless and weren't even
aware that you've switched to Googlewallet from fitbit pay on 29th July.

Basically it's a starling card - Google wallet do accept this. And yes it's
already in my Google wallet and my phone allows me to pay on my phone from
Google wallet.

This has always worked before on my charge 5 band with this same card.

It's after 29th July that it's now Google wallet which it doesn't work.

I've been on with my bank several hours and they say it's not on there end.
And even sent me a report to prove it.

I've been on with fitbit which say it's the banks issue. Dispite the report
from my bank.

I've been on with Google suggested by fitbit. Google say it's fitbits issue.

And then fitbit said its an apple issue as I'm using the latest iphone.

As you can see from all that just to pay from my wrist isn't worth the
hassle. I'm very disappointed as when I bought my fitbit charge 5 it was
for the purpose of payments on my wrist. I even took out a starling bank
account at the time of purchase as they were one of the few banks
compatible.

So I'll just have to buy a iwatch.
