Update 6/26/2018: Hi Everyone, I've merged a few threads together. Thanks for your iOS notification reports.

Based on customer feedback, we stopped showing notifications in the Notification Center. You can continue to receive these notifications as push notifications by turning on Push Notifications in the app under Account > Notifications. Additionally, ensure that Notifications is selected in your iPhone settings.

@Rose_M Ah yes, that’s true. I have nothing in that section, so I forgot about that. I just ignore the tab now but would way more prefer they put the notification back there!

Agreed!!! Should be easy to put back if they decide to do it. 🙏🏽😢

That's a good plan.  Don't listen to your customers.

Completely agree @Ktengstrom!!!

Really hoping they just reinstate what was already working! 🤞

seems it would be the easiest way to get back the service/info we want!!

Thank you, @MarcoGFitbit, forstaying on top of this. I received push notifications a few days ago for just that day then they stopped. Two days ago, I received 1 notification. Very sporadic.

Same here. Still waiting on issue to be resolved. Don’t understand why it’s taking so long. Should be easy but guess not.

Thanks for the update. Praying for good news soon. Really wished it was back on dashboard or consistently with the encouragement showing up on tracker. 😢

Once again, thank you. Keeping hope alive.

Totally agree @Motherlove!!

Seems an honest and sincere question, @MarcoGFitbit: why can’t the engineers reinstate the code that worked before? It worked.

Goodness, those users that didn’t like the notifications (?!?!?!🤔) can ignore them— for those of us that appreciated them, the encouragement is sorely missed and a large function of the app gone!

I understand your concern about this issue and I'll make sure our team is still working towards a prompt resolution for it. Please note that as I'm not part of the development team I can't answer your question about re-rolling a previous version of the app. I appreciate your question though.

Thanks again for your patience and understanding. As mentioned before, we'll make sure to update this thread once we have more information to share with you about this situation.

Have a great day and a great weekend!

Thank you as always. Prayerfully the issue will be resolved soon. As a proud senior citizen, my health is top priority and I purchased the FitBit because of its encouragement and motivation to hit my goal. It was also motivating to see “Overachiever”. Really wished the team would have thought about the customers who needed motivation to excel.

Once again, thank you.

@Motherlove at this time, the notification issue that was affecting a few users has been resolved. I would ensure your connection is correct as mentioned throughout this thread. Currently, there are no plans to place goal notifications back in the notification center, I do apologize for the inconvenience.

You said the issue has been resolved. I have not received any notifications on tracker today. Receiving my notifications on tracker from my other Apps but not FitBit. 😢

@Motherlove I'm not sure what is going on, I know that you have set all your settings correctly. Do you have All Day Sync enabled in your Fitbit settings? What notifications are you missing?
