In order to ensure an optimal experience, please take a moment to update your Fitbit app to the latest version by September 30th for those using Fitbit app versions 3.00 to 3.90 and 4.00 to 4.21. If you wait beyond that date to update, the Fitbit App could experience performance issues.
Visit the Apple App Store to update the Fitbit app.
To determine your app version:
For Fitbit App 3.00 - 3.90
Google Account: Today > Account Menu (Top Right Icon) > Help > Version
Fitbit Account: Today > Account Menu (Top Left Icon) > Help & Support > Version
For Fitbit App 4.00 - 4.22 (and higher)
Google Account: Today > Google Account Menu (Top Right Icon) > Help > App Version
Fitbit Account: Today > Settings (Top Right Gear) > Help > App Version

You are spot on about calories - and there are distance and floors as well!

Thank you to everyone who has posted here. I thought I was losing my mind, when the app wasn’t holding any record of steps anymore. As with many of you, it would sync, eventually show some steps, attribute that same number of steps to several previous days, and then revert everything back to 0. Beyond frustrating. I see the below comments were from a few days ago, wondering when we will see an update to fix this issue?

Since the update all my exercise data is gone. The only exercises showing are automatic detected ones. One thing is knowing there is this error, but not responding to anything is even worse. I would love to go back to track my runs and bike rides and not being forced to change tracker...

Andrea, a week has gone by and there is no response, no improvement and still your call to update and lead Fitbit-user into chaos. The quality of your services are very low, the support from you non existent. I will check on Tuesday-morning for improvements, if the app is still not working properly, you have lost me and made me a very angry reference for your company.

I am having similar problems. I am missing data from random days, and even after I sync and today’s data are correctly synced, it reverts to incorrect data when I close and restart the app.

I am having same issue. Everyday after 9/4/24 has same number of steps as day before. Says at end of day it’s synced and then next day it’s same as current day. Fitbit one not being recognized at all. Says it’s syncing but no steps go to phone. Did the same steps I have done a million times before when it stops syncing and nothing works. It’s an app issue I can tell as it sees One just won’t bring numbers over. I have 4.25 app version and moved to google version yesterday or day before thinking this might fix issue. But no. I also use Fitbit inspire and it syncs with phone and is recognized thru Bluetooth (unlike One) but the next day I have an all new step count. This is ridiculous- just had 9 year anniversary of Fitbit usage and this mess occurs. Guess it’s time to quit fighting moving to apple 😢

I got the update an now there is no cardio fitness score anymore?
Is it supposed to be like that?
I'm considering turning auto updates off, because sometimes the changes really annoy me.
After the firmware update I can't see anything on my Fitbit anymore if the battery is below 20%. Why? The warning won't disappear no matter what I do..

I updated and found a landscape of sadness on the new app. You stole all the joy, the colors, the congratulations for reaching goals, the tips. It’s like a clown of sadness is running this thing.

Hi @AndreaFitbit I really hope that, given all of the feedback on issues with the latest App versions both in this thread and the broader IOS App thread, that whatever was due to happen post 30th September that could potentially affect older App versions GoogleFitbit puts that plan on hold. Perhaps you could share an update with us all? Many thanks.

Is anyone going to admit that there is a major problem - and if something is going to be done about it?
Because I for one will be seeking a new device this weekend.
This is not how you treat loyal customers and build repeat business.

I agree. Also I need to scroll more to see all the data. Why? It was just fine the way it looked

Why is the app changing recorded activity? Is this going to get fixed? It worked correctly in previous updates and since all my data is still missing I can’t check if it’s changed history too.
Same iOS tracked activity, first screenshot when completed, second after closing/reopening the same activity.

Andrea, I'm sure you meant well with your response on Aug 22, 2024, but it seems many of these problems started after Aug 26, 2024. I've been a FitBit One user since 2014. And have been using the app since 2015. I thought I would get another FitBit when my One finally gave out, but not with these app issues. There are too many other choices out there. I switched to the Google platform when they 1st suggested & have kept the app updated. I'm on version 4.25.1 & since Aug 26, 2024 have not been able to see dashboard data other than the current day. Very disappointing. Looks like others have the same issue & no one seems to be addressing it. What gives??

For what it's worth, an informal poll among friends suggests that they can still see their previous days totals; none ofvthem have migrated their account to google, none of them are using FitBit Ones. I cannot tell if everyone experiencing these issues is using a One, but a lot of us seem to be; and a lotbof us if not all seem to have already migrated the account to google.

Yes, I've not been able go see my data since Sept 5th. I reported this but so far there's no help. After 10 years wth fitbit (Charge 2) I may have to move to Apple.

I've updated to 4.25 and have further downgraded the app. Lots of historic data corrupted. Lots of walks that take 654 months and 21 days (no seconds). Exercise records lost.
