Upgraded my phone and cannot connect my new iphone to charge 6

I've upgraded my iphone and transferred apps from the old to new but the app wouldn't connect to my charge 6.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my phone, but can't get it to connect to the watch.  Any suggestions gratefully received.

Let me help you syncing your Charge 6 to your new iPhone. I appreciate all the troubleshooting steps you have already performed.

A priori, you should be able to sync your Charge 6 to your new compatible mobile device, once you install the latest version of the Fitbit app. If your app on your old device wasn't updated the uninstall/reintalling process should resolve the issue.
